FUNDACJA "VEXILLA REGIS" exists to uphold and promote traditional Catholic principles and Polish national identity through culture, art, and a classical model of education. We foster historical and civic awareness by organising catechesis, lectures, and cultural initiatives. By cultivating heritage and strengthening connections across Christian Europe, we actively shape public discourse and educate the next generation in truth, tradition, and community responsibility.
This mission is not merely an institutional statement — it is a living commitment, renewed through every lecture, every screening, every catechetical session, and every act of cultural transmission we undertake. We believe that a people who forget their heritage lose their future, and that a people who remember it — and who are willing to defend and transmit it — remain a people with a future.
Our work is therefore simultaneously retrospective and prospective: we look to the past to understand who we are, and we look to the future to fulfil our duty to those who come after us.

Four Commitments That Guide Everything We Do
Faith & Doctrine
We are rooted in the traditional teachings of the Catholic Church — the Apostolic Tradition passed down through centuries of martyrdom, scholarship, and sanctity. We hold that the Catholic faith is not one cultural option among many, but the light of truth in which all human culture finds its highest expression.
Our catechetical and theological programmes aim to form Catholics who know what they believe and why they believe it, and who are equipped to live and defend their faith with intelligence and conviction.
National Identity
Love of homeland is a Christian virtue. Poland's history is inseparable from her Catholic identity — from the baptism of the Piast dynasty to the great saints and heroes who defended Christian civilisation. We honour this inheritance and work to ensure it is neither forgotten nor distorted.
We cultivate historical memory, patriotic sentiment, and civic responsibility as integral dimensions of the well-formed person and the healthy society.
Culture & the Arts
Culture is the expression of a people's soul. Great art, literature, music, and film carry moral and spiritual truth in ways that no lecture alone can achieve. We believe in the formative power of beauty and take seriously the Catholic tradition of engaging the arts as a vehicle of evangelisation and civilisation.
Our film club, cultural events, and artistic initiatives reflect the conviction that culture is a battleground — and that the Church and the nation have always produced the most luminous works when they have been united in purpose.
Classical Education
Modern education has largely abandoned the classical model — the formation of the whole person in virtue, reason, and wisdom — in favour of narrow technical training. We reject this impoverishment and work to recover and promote a model of education worthy of the human person.
Our educational initiatives draw on the classical trivium and quadrivium, the great works of Western and Polish civilisation, and the tradition of Catholic humanism that produced the finest minds of European history.
Active Engagement in the Public Square
FUNDACJA "VEXILLA REGIS" does not retreat from the public square. We believe that Catholics and Poles have not only the right but the duty to participate actively in shaping the cultural and civic life of their communities.
Through our public lecture series, collaborative projects with other foundations, and engagement with civic institutions, we work to ensure that the voice of tradition — of faith, reason, and national heritage — is heard clearly in contemporary Polish society.
We engage with scholars, clergy, artists, politicians, and ordinary citizens alike, building a broad community of those committed to the renewal of Polish culture from its deepest roots.

We believe that the renewal of Christian civilisation is not a task for one nation alone, but for all nations that share this inheritance and are willing to work together for its preservation and flourishing.
